The Different Levels of Bathroom Equipment

A shower is a place for cleanliness. But for many of us, it can be more than that. When you are inside surrounded by the wet wall panels, you begin to ponder the complexities of life, have arguments with yourself, or showcase your beautiful voice by singing until you are done bathing. It is just a relaxing and fun time while you enjoy copious amounts of water splashing onto your skin. This is your private time, after all, so you can do whatever you want.

When it comes to bathroom equipment, there are a lot of options out there. They could be an aid to clean yourself better and provide comfort or some form of entertainment.

The Essential Ones

Some people find the basic combination of shampoo, soap, and water enough for you to get yourself cleaned. But for those who are more thorough, they can add in a skin exfoliant or a scrub there. You shed a lot of skin cells every day, so if you want to be sure that they are taken off you, you need to have something to rub them away.

Most bathrooms have smooth tiles for their walls and floors. So when you add water and soap to the mix, you end up with a slipping hazard. Even though you are not that mobile while showering, all it takes for you to slip is a little missed step. You can put in a rubber mat on your floor to combat this. Having that extra grip can prevent you from having a serious injury.

The Nice-to-Haves

The necessity of having a temperature control mechanism is dependent on where you live. Tropical countries would not need this. Water that comes straight from the tap is cold enough to keep them feeling fresh. Since they mostly have warm days, they do not see the need for a heater that much.

Not all bathrooms have bathtubs, but it would surely be nice to have one. If you want to feel good about yourself, fill up the tub and pour some of your bubble bath mix. Go ahead and invite yourself in and enjoy having your body covered with the pleasant scent. Or you can crank the heat up a bit and have the hot water hug your body. This is a great way to loosen up any tight muscles—a relaxing activity overall.

Luxury Options

Some people have other stuff that you do not normally find in a bathroom. If you are fine with bringing a magazine or a newspaper with you as you relieve yourself, there are some who have TV sets to keep them company while doing the deed. You can imagine this being useful for folk who are so invested in the shows they are watching that they are willing to hold everything else until they are done.

A pet peeve of some is to have a cold toilet seat. It can startle you when it touches your skin at first, but your bottom will adapt after sitting for a few minutes. You can thank your body temperature for that. But for some, this is not enough. You can have seats that have heating coils in them so that you don’t have to worry about that initial cold shock. This will keep you warm until you finish your business with the toilet.

Any way you see it, the bathroom is where you should feel the most comfortable. Whether you are someone practical or enjoy the finer things in life, you can customize it to your liking. In the end, it will be all about your cleanliness and happiness.
