A recent late summer wedding held at the Mandarin Oriental New York is a testament to the hotel’s dedication to providing only the best for its guests. The property was able to negotiate a temporary closure of Columbus Circle so that the guests and the groom – seated on a decorative Baraat horse – could make their way from Central Park to the hotel just before the ceremony. Before entering the property for the ceremony, the guests spent 15 minutes dancing and celebrating on 60th Street.
There were two separate ceremonies with the Hindu service beginning with a large celebration for 230 guests. After an outfit change, a civil ceremony took place in the ballroom before a night of dinner and dancing. The evening lasted until approximately 1 a.m.
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group also has residences in Vegas, Atlanta, New York, Macau, Taipei and more.
