A contemporary loft with a rich history, Chez event space was once the home of the famous Chez Paree nightclub, which occupied the building from the 1930s through the 1950s. The club hosted many of the world’s best entertainers, including Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nat King Cole.
Today, Chez Chicago offers event planners a blank canvas upon which to create their works of art.
Designed by internationally recognized architects Krueck + Sexton, Chez provides a versatile space that can be transformed for any occasion. Statuesque columns add even more drama to the 17-foot-high space.
An architectural glass staircase leads to a mezzanine overlooking the main floor. Brilliant white brick walls, white drapery and polished concrete floors create an elegant loft aesthetic. Additional features include floor-to-ceiling windows, coat check, a private guest suite, and a catering prep space with a separate entrance. Chez provides an ideal setting for a variety of events, including wedding ceremonies and receptions, fundraisers, private parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events, and off-site meetings.
Situated two blocks from Michigan Avenue and Chicago’s lakefront, Chez is in close proximity to the Loop, Millennium Park, and Museum Campus. Sixty hotels within a half-mile radius of Chez can accommodate out-of-town guests.
Chez can accommodate 300 guests for cocktail receptions and conferences, 200 guests for seated dinners, and 150 guests for ceremonies with a seated dinner.
