The seventh floor of 1111 Lincoln Road is a Miami event space that comes with something unique … a view, and parking!
Created by a colorful Miami developer and a world-renowned architecture firm, 1111 Lincoln Road is what the New York Times called “…a piece of carchitecture that resembles a gigantic loft apartment, with exaggerated ceiling heights, wide-open 360-degree views and no exterior walls … Rather than seeking to hide cars, as garages have done for decades, it openly celebrates them.”
For A Joy Wallace, a catering and design firm, the space is perfect for any event client seeking that South Beach feel. The venue really puts guests in the heart of Miami with view of the hot shopping spot, Lincoln Road, as well as the ocean and city. At this event, A Joy Wallace did the buffet stations and linen, but when the company is in charge of the entire design, the look is always modern, simple and clean; simply an accent to the beautiful surroundings.
“What I think is the coolest part about 1111, ” says Kelsey Richardson, marketing and events at A Joy Wallace, “Is that it really is just a parking garage. The owner of the garage actually lives on the very top floor, and rents out the space for events. Cars can park on the lower floors for a pretty penny. 1111 Lincoln Road is a Miami event space that offers a panoramic view of the city as well as the ocean and bay view. Because it is a parking garage, there is a lot of room to really transform the space to look exactly how you want it, which is always a great quality for an event space. It is basically a blank slate with killer views!”
Those views apparently work both ways. When event lighting is added, the space becomes a stunning view from the street, making people wonder what could possibly be going on at a parking garage.
