Spring is a time of renewal and seeing things differently. Here are 12 design ideas so egg-ceptional, we know they will stay fresh long after the expiration date.

1. Sweetness. This engagement shoot by photographer Brian Leahy, wedding planner Holly Stein, M.A. of Simply Sweet Weddings and Events and designer Katie Doyle from Studio Ooh La La, started off being glam, complete with black formal attire and gilded everything. The final product could not have been further from that. The look was sweet as cherry wine which is what we believe might have been in the decanters!

2. Decanters. Most of the decor and design items on this table were from Katie Doyle’s personal collection. “I have always had a love for apothecary jars,” Doyle says, “Cloche domes and decanters (my collection is more than 50) so I pulled items from my home and loaded up my car to the brim. While we had a general idea of the direction we wanted to take the shoot in I pulled together most of the details on site. I work better without a concrete plan!”
